Knowledge base – How to create and schedule classes
Introduction:
This easy-to-follow guide will show you how to create classes step by step. Whether you want to make a one time class or weekly classes we have got you covered!
Step 1: Accessing the room creation interface

Login to your SIMPECH account.
Find and click on the rooms section on your dashboard.
Click the “+New Rooms” Button to start making your class.
Step 2: Setting Up Class Details

Room title: Give your class a name (like history class).
Room description: Write a short description telling students what the class is about.
Step 3: Scheduling the class

Date: Pick the day for your class (like February 17th, 2025).
Start time: Choose when your class will begin (like 8:30 pm).
Duration: Decide how log your class will last ( such as 30 mins).
Step 4: Configuring Recurrence ( Optional )
Recurrence: decide if your class happens once or repeats:
None:For a one-time class only.
Daily: If you want the class to happen every day,
Weekly: if you want the class on certain days each week.
Time Slots for Selected Days: If your class repeats, pick which days and times (like Tuesday at 8:3ppM).
Step 5: Room Settings

Layout: Choose how your classroom looks:
Classroom: Great for teaching lessons.
Meeting: perfect for group talks.
Whiteboard: Best when you need to draw or show things.
Recordings: Turn on the recording if you want to save the classMake the system record automatically.
Communication: Turn on chat groups so students can talk to each other.
Auto-record Sessions: Make the system record automatically.
Steps 6: Access control
Enable Waiting Room: Make students wait until you let them in,
Login required: Make sure students must log in before joining.
Participants Controls: Choose what students can do ( talk, use video, chat)
Step 7: Finalizing and saving
Double click all your settings.
Click “save” Or “create” to finish setting up your class.
Additional Tips
Permanent Room: If you want a room that's always available, mark it as permanent.
Notifications: Set up reminders so students don't forget about class.
